pt cei care stiu ce este YVD si vor sa creeze seturi de carti proprii uitati cum se face (din pacate este in engleza dar intelegeti voi).
HOW TO MAKE YVD SETS
Welcome to a small pocket-sized guide on how to make YVD sets. Once you have mastered the codes, you'll be making your own SET file in no time! The first thing we need to cover, is how to actually MAKE the file. You make it in Notepad. Notepad is a small program that comes with almost every computer. You probably have it, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this!
Anyway, open a new Notepad document, and save it as a SET. You do this by going into "save as" and, under the name, type the name of the set followed by '.SET'. For example, if you named it TAF, the name would be 'TAF.SET'. However, that's not it. If you just saved it as it is, the file would be named, in this case, 'TAF.SET.txt'. Put it in speech marks, so it's like '"TAF.SET"', and then save it. It'll work. Congradulations! You've just made your very own SET file! Now to actually code it.
There are three types of coding you need to know - Monster, Spell and Trap. We will begin with the Monster coding.
|"Name"|"Set Number"|"Set Code"|"Primary Type""Secondary Type"|"Attribute"|"Level"||"ATK"|"DEF"|"Description"|0|
This is a template for a monster coding. Simply replace all the things that are already typed in with the actual stats of the monster. Below is an example list of the stuff to add. By "Secondary Type", I am refferring to the stuff like "/Effect", or "/Ritual". Add in all the secondary effects needed straight after the primary effect, without a space, but with a forward slash. For example, if you had a warrior with an effect, you would type "Warrior/Effect". If you had a Fusion Spellcaster with an effect, you type in "Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect". There is no particular order to have to worry about.
Now to cover the spells. Here is a template for a spell card.
|"Name"|"Set Number"|"Set Code"|Spell Card|Spell||"Additional type"|||"Description"|0|
Spell cards are slightly more complicated than monsters. Notice the following extract from the code:- "|Spell Card|Spell||". The "Spell Card" and "Spell" parts included there MUST remain in the code, unchanged, otherwise the computer gets confused and doesn't know what type it is, which could cause your YVD to crash. Further notice where it says, "Additional Type". This is where you write the type of Spell card, such as 'Equip', 'Ritual', 'Quick-play', as well as others. For a list of the types of spell cards, please consult the official Duel Monsters rule book. If this Spell card has no additional effect, simply leave that partucular space blank. Do not write "Normal", as some have been known to do. This is an easy mistake to make, and could cause problems for your YVD.
Finally we have Traps. Here is a template for a trap card.
|"Name"|"Set Number"|"Set Code"|Trap Card|Trap||"Additional Type"|||"Description"|0|
As with a spell card, you must leave the "Trap Card" and "Trap" parts unchanged, otherwise your computer will get confused. The trap coding is otherwise identical to Spell coding. In the "Additional Type" box, type in, for example, the stuff like "Counter", "Continuous", that sort of stuff. As before, if there is no Additional Type, simply leave it blank, and do NOT write "Normal".
Well that's about it. Anything I havn't mentioned in probably self-explanitory. Now go forth and create YVD codes with the best of them. Good bike!
